Re: Classic Finn rigging

John,
I’ve got a copy of Finnatics but it’s rather a lot to put on the site. We need to,find a way to host more stuff before new add a lot more. I’ve got the Finn lines and building plans to go on the site and we’re trying to find the best way to do that next.

Classic Finn rigging

I’ve added the Classic Finn rigging guides to the Classic Finn section on the British Finn site. It’s aimed at Needlespar rigs but I use very similar set up for my wooden mast.

Re: Does the FB Group support the CVRDA Mission?

How practical would it be to post just links on fb to content on the website?

Re: Does the FB Group support the CVRDA Mission?

I have no answers, but I agree that the FB page has sucked the forum dry. Just looking at the sparceness of the forum posts shows that, and this means there's no search option for interesting topics. I also note the fb pages get lots of irrelevant content on from around the world. Fb seems to be tak...

Re: AGM - 5. Fixtures

As Pat said, no fixtures for this year. I've been fortunate that I've been able to sail from Warsash both informally since May and club racing since July and I took Django out for her only outing this year at a Finn open at Christchurch in September. We've had few offers for open events for 2021 so ...

Re: Is it a Finn or a Solo mast?

It's too short for a Finn, which is a shame as it looks really good. I'm told it's too long for an OK but I haven't looked at the measurements to be sure. Whilst there's several people sailing or restoring Finns with wooden masts I haven't seen an OK with a wooden mast since my brother broke his in ...
