PS to see pics I googled Scow Moths and clicked on pictures and there is a picture of the Moth entitled CVRDA which links to ray's April post.

IMPERIUM SCOW FOR SALE

Hi Everybody I was lucky enough too purchase Ray's Imperium Scow Bilabong. 5 boats are too many to keep and two must go .... hence very reluctant sale, Ray's description is absolutely accurate..... I have had huge fun sailing her and the grin factor is fantastic. She looks beautiful. I have upgraded...

MOTHS AT ROADFORD

Hi All Mothies Is anyone apart from myself coming to Roadford ? - I hope so. I am bringing my Magnum 8 - sadly in need of work both basic and cosmetic - although all leaks cured now I believe ( tempting providence). I have also bought the Iperium Scow "Boulabong" - recently advertised - an...

Re: Classic/ Lowrider Moth training at Oxford SC

Hi All,

Looking forward to coming with trusty Magnum 8. The 9.9 has been sold but at the moment will not be able to come to Oxford.

I will press the matter. Given up the mothman label due to too much swimming.

Cheers

Re: Magnum or similar Moth

Hi Yes I have a Magnum 9.9 for sale. Its bullet proof and was professionally restored to be so. Ed recommended it to me as he knew both the dinghy and the builder who restored it. And he was right it doesn't leak a drop, is an outstandingly stiff and strong hull. Its well sorted with good carbon spa...

Hi Ian
What a great idea. I shall be there and looking forward to it.
Are we all going to try and give Roadford a Moth focus like last year.

Re: Baltic Warf event

My thanks to all at the CVRDA and especially all those that came to Bristol. I was ridiculously and wildly excited to see four moths in a Magnum fest turn up (2 sixes a seven and an eight). Its the "anything goes" design ethos that I find so very exciting and the subtly of hull design that...

Re: Baltic Warf event

Please don't encourage Alan to throw any more Moth masts down the motorway :)

I say chaps I only chuck a mast away every decade or so.

Cant see whats wrong with that.

Re: Baltic Warf event

Okay you guys I am up for the challenge with a host of go faster gadgets and weight saving improvements,

I throw down the gauntlet in the assurance that all the other mothies will see of Magnum the Magnificent is a stern view.

And I will view you sternly if I don't see you there.

Cheers

Re: CVRDA 15th National Rally, Clywedog SC, 23-25 August

Can I add my twopennyworth please to the appreciative comments about Clywedog ?.. Well I will. I had a wonderful time and learnt a huge amount from sailing with the other Moths as well as in competition in Open Water. My thanks to all at Clywedoc especially Keith and of course to the CVRDA for putti...
