Re: Merlin 1027
Hi, I'm keen to get back into old Merlins. I've owned quite a few in the past, and I loved the Proctor Xll I had. I will offer £300, but would appreciate some pictures, if possible, and also your home town! Best wishes, Stewart

Re: PHOTON TWIN TRAPEZE SKIFF
I remember having a conversation with the editor of Yachts and Yachting. He remembered them testing the Photon. His opinion was that it was definitely fast, but, in his own words "over canvassed"!

PHOTON TWIN TRAPEZE SKIFF
I have a Photon dinghy for sale. Though it's not a classic, it's interesting enough to merit attention here, I think. It's a sixteen foot twin trapeze GRP and Kevlar skiff, which was marketed before the International 14s introduced the twin trapeze. It's light, and with a generous sail area it didn'...

International Canoe
I have an old wooden, sapele decked International Canoe for sale. I can't find the number on the hull, but I think it might be 241. It's in very good condition for its age, with a crisp, and underused main (number K1, which I know is NOT official!), matching jib with small but repairable hole, and a...

Proctor 8 International 14
AASA, a 1965 Richardson built Proctor 8 International 14, is for sale. It was the one I kept when I had to pare my collection of 13 Fourteens down to 1, and is still in beautiful condition, apart from some UV degradation on the varnish near the stem. She comes with a good suit of Batt sails, various...

FIREBALL FREE TO GOOD HOME
I am giving away my Fireball, sail number 525. I would be delighted if it went to someone who will appreciate it. The painted hull is in good condition, the varnished decks and interior less so. There are two old mains, a jib, mainsheet with blocks, jibsheet, sound rudder and tiller, two centreboard...

''VINTAGE" FIREBALL
I am selling my Fireball, sail number 525. A modest offer will secure it, and I would be delighted if it went to someone who will appreciate it; hence here rather than eBay. The painted hull is in very good condition, the varnished decks and interior less so, but still sound, with deterioration in t...

Re: merlin rocket wanted
Older meaning before the very wide boats, preferably.....though I wouldn't discount anything to be honest!! It's to buy with a friend, who I've sailed many Merlins with, but who is a bit too fragile after an illness to travel far at the moment. Hence, I've seen 799 advertised, and it's a superb boat...
