Varnish removal
The varnish on the Ghost is very thin, in fact almost non existent in parts. Given the loveliness of the veneers beneath is there a best way to remove the old stuff ready for new, more protective coats?

We aren’t sure yet. I’m keen to come but we have no loo facilities in our little van. I guess if you go ahead we can always buy a portaloo and little loo tent!

Not me, I cannot claim to be sylph-like. But I am tempted by the Blandford Nymph for sale for £50, my concern is that at 86kg I am far too heavy for it. Views?

I’ve been wondering about my Laser 2. No longer in production, I think the CA is defunct. Would it count? I have no wish to race it myself, but there are plenty still about.

This is interesting. The rolled decks on The Peril are coming away from the hull, and this information on their constructive makes me think that the repair is one for an expert and not for me.
