Re: Meeting at Hykeham (Again)

Plan to be there in Talisman n2576. With some support from other vintage 12 this will also count as a vintage 12 event, ( accept that cvrda won't be sponsoring any n12 only trophies!!)
So if any n12 are out there and want to join please come along and join the fun

Re: Your opinion on the centreboard and cockpit sole refurb.

Sam is always considered to be wise beyond his years!
I also would paint centreboards if only its easier to spot weed growth around the board when you are beating to windward. Green weed against white shows up much better than green against varnished wood.

Re: Meeting at Hykeham anyone?

Sam. Depending on when I should have my clinker N12 ready. I also have sticky fingers back in my ownership which does need some joinery work but could be loaned out to any interested parties. She's a 1964 starfish and when I owned her was pretty quick!

Re: Spider...removing the cobwebs! N12 2523

For £25 there is a mast and boom on the 12 website might be worth looking at. If the shrouds don't fit my local chandlery made some up for £35. Could save messing around esp if mast is bent as you say

Re: National 12 Mast lengths

National 12 website tuning guide has a wealth of information. They are having their vintage champs end of June why not go along chat to the other helmsman about their boats. Howard chadwick has a starfish design and is very quick.,Martin
