Spotted this on an Irish ad website https://www.donedeal.ie/sailing-for-sal ... y/11966535
Anyone recognise it? I'm not interested in it but just curious.

Re: Is this a Finn?
Neil, thanks for your reply. I had a close look at the photo's and from the side profile photo, it does look like there are black marks along the hull. These appear in horizontal lines and it looks like they correspond with the ribs. Is the Raudaschl hull nailed? if there was rot around a lot of the...

Re: Is this a Finn?
Thanks for the replies. I've always wanted a Finn but I'm more interested in a GRP boat.
Is this a strip planked ply construction or double diagonal? Any idea of the builder, etc.
Anyone got any links to a restoration of something like this?
Thanks.

Is this a Finn?

I spotted this on a website here in Ireland. Looks a bit like an old wooden Finn. One picture shows the sail in the foreground.
It looks fairly tired but might make a nice project.

Re: Help ID this Finn Lookalike
I just got word that it's 12ft long by 5ft and the spars are wooden.
I'm still none the wiser so I'm guessing the boat is foreign.

Re: Help ID this Finn Lookalike
It's definitely not an Irish class. I've never seen one of these before and I've sailed all over Ireland.

Help ID this Finn Lookalike
I just spotted this on a local ads website
http://www.adverts.ie/boats-accessories ... ngy/721139
The price is crazy, I'd say they need to knock the 1 off that price.
It looks very like a finn, does anyone know what it is?
