Re: Twinkle 12

Hi Paul, I think a website would be a great idea. You could involve the Twinkle 10 and Family 14 too? Have you seen the Overy Staithe Sailing Club website? Their club currently seems to be the spiritual home of these boats. See http://www.overystaithesc.org.uk/ All the best for 2013 and I hope your ...

Re: Twinkle 12

Just to say hi to Aviateam and any other Twink sailors who stop by. I hope you had a great time over the summer in your new boat!

I sail a Twinkle 12 at Redesmere SC, over to the west of Macclesfield.

If you're interested there's more about the Star Class (or another class also called the Star!) on the website of West Kirby Sailing Club.

As the owner of a Twinkle Twelve I can confirm that this is not one.

Twinks have more graceful lines and a beautifully curved foredeck - not that I'm biased mind you!

Hi Ian, thanks for that.

I'm in the North West so Roadford would be bit of a trek! If I can I will try to get to a more northerly meeting next year. In the meantime I'd better learn something about racing!

best wishes

Hi Neil, many thanks for that. I like the informal emphasis on the boats and the people - assuming that they're not obscure and musty smelling too :-) As you say I'll look forward to trying to get to an event. Do you know how many Twinkle Twelves and Family Fourteens are associated with the group? B...

Hi folks I've recently come to this site for the first time. Please could someone tell me how to join CVRDA and what membership offers? I can't find a great deal on how to join on the site, and have sent an e-mail through the contact section but to no avail. For your info I've acquired a Twinkle Twe...
