I am keeping my JB and selling the FD. The FD is a joy to sail and in many ways superior to the JB but I cannot look after both.

Re: Bough Beech Rally
A Minisail has arrived with another due tomorrow.
Re: RTI 4 T1
No immediate plans to return and do the final section. If we lived closer and had easy access to a rib then we could choose a day when tide and weather were favorable at short notice but we dont! It would be easier to do Dover/Calais so maybe next year but ideally is a dinghy that is a little bigger...
Re: RTI 4 T1
RTI 4 Type 1 William Chanter & Tom Baker – 23rd July 2013 Our simple plan was to sail around the Isle of Wight in my 29er dinghy. We hoped to raise money to fund research into curing Type 1 (as both helm and crew have T1 Diabetes) to hopefully inspire others with T1 and have some fun too. The pl...

Anybody else coming?
I will be sailing FD 9 which is far from looking really nice but fun to sail.

Canadian Style Canoe
Some time ago I think somebody was selling something along the lines of a canoe. Anybody not using one they would like to sell?
Re: Swimmers
We tell them, politely, to leave as swimming is banned. I think insurance/liability would be a difficult area which is a reason for asking people to leave.

Re: Bough Beech Rally
You are welcome to camp. It is a 1 day event but those attending are most welcome to join the club racing on Sunday. If there is demand for the galley to be open for dinner on the Saturday night then I need an idea of numbers please. It is possible to leave boats at BBSC and then pick up on the way ...

Don't forget there will also be prizes for our Concours d'Elegance, which this year will be judged by yachting journalist and classic boat aficionado, David Henshall

Re: not an ent, so what is it?
Peter V may well be right. I think that idea was a team racing design experiment and I believe there is an old hull lying around at BBSC.

FD Superdocious ? k300?
Does anybody on here own the FD that is on the website banner? My son is currently sailing from Netley and Netley Cliff and I saw it was at the former but heard a rumor it was moving to the latter? I would really like the opportunity to take a closer look and ideally go for a sail which is a little ...
