Re: Hunts - who is coming?
The galley will be open for lunches, cake, snacks etc. I thought we could make the usual pilgrimage to the Dolphin or similar on Saturday night.

Re: Capsize aid.
I have some new centreboard fittings from Suntouched that have a groove in them for the shockcord. The boat is currently stripped of all fittings and about to be re-rigged. Peter where are your lines fitted?

Re: Proctor Event Bosham - Important Change of Date
It’s 1st and 2nd September, to coincide with the Classic Boat Revival but with the first day being devoted to the Centennial. Unfortunately we can’t go and nor can Ian and Lyndon, so no Agamemnon.

Re: Capsize aid.
I capsize a massive amount, sometime by accident, fairly often on purpose. The thought of inverting the Finn makes me shudder....

Re: Hunts in June
It’s a club rule I’m afraid. I can ask special permission, but I expect I’d be turned down, which is crazy. Because we allow equally big Dinghies.....I will see what I can do, but don’t hold your breath.

Re: Get those vintage 14s out
I’m afraid that by then Aggie should be elsewhere being spruced ready for Bosham.

Re: Hunts in June
No fifteens at Hunts I’m afraid, the lake isn’t big enough for keelboats.

Re: Proctor 2018 - the search is on
How do we know which boats are invited? If Aggie is going I will take the original mast to be rigged out in readiness. Ian, I am coming to Oxford on the 7th April for the D one event, but that might be too early for you?

Re: Proctor 2018 - the search is on
Sounds like a plan. I am happy for you to pick the boat up, with all it’s bits, and take it home to put together if that helps. I’m happy to pay for parts too. I am actually in Austria for the D1 Gold Cup when the Proctor event is on, but I’m keen that Aggie gets sailed - she has sat in my shed for ...

Re: Fairy Finn
Just an update: this went a while ago to a member from Hunts who has recently retired and who will get a lot of joy from both restoring and sailing it. Does anyone out there have any battens as I don’t have any for the soft sail for my own boat, and the Fairy didn’t have any at all. Where do they go?

Re: Proctor 2018 - the search is on
Agamemnon is available for use at Bosham. I have had a full size (ie very large) sail made but have yet to rig out the mast properly. If anyone wants to use him/her they need to let me know well in advance so I can make it all fit together and test it. The boat is beautiful and rather going to waste...
