I have an old wood Laser daggerboard in the loft, it is slightly deformed but you could probably get a rudder blade out of it!

Hi,
that mast looks solid enough to me, a vigorous clean off with a cream cleaner and an rough faced foam washing up pad will improve its appearance no end

with the Heron you also have the option of the traditional or stitch and glue versions. You can buy a kit but they are about £1200. Come and join us in the UKHBBR for home boatbuilding advice
