I have his contact details, name tel. no. and email but think it not wise to put them on a public forum. Happy to pass them on to anybody through PM system. He and P1 are very near to Chichester.

Dynamic have responded with a quote which is competetive. I have emailed Dick Batt who have asked some very appropriate questions and has Jollyboat experience too. Thanks again for the suggestions. I think there may be enough interest to have a couple of "informed" sailmakers as links. Even if there...

Still available, somebody take up the offer or the owner may well be having a large bonfire shortly.

I emailed Ratsey & L and the email was bounced so called them and spoke to a rather unhelpful lady. So, despite the fact that they made the last set for a previous owner they will not be making the next set for this owner. Thanks for the suggestions.

Sails and other things

I am in the process of shopping about for a sail (genoa) for J9. The best quote has been from McNamara but I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions as to who else I might contact that would be interested in a sail for a CVRDA dinghy. Perhaps we could establish a link and get a CVRDA discount?

Facebook

But, there is all the stress about how many "friends" you have, should you accept new contacts etc etc. Still, maybe I will. I will think about it whilst I iron a neat crease in the front of my jeans.

After much searching on FT.com Should I be on Facebook? No. If jeans belong to us, techno-networking belongs to them. Here is an overriding principle of the rules: each generation must be allowed to have its own thing. As a young person, you can ape the style of a previous generation - it is done al...

I agree about the forums, less is more. I think age related posting is not a good idea. I have removed myself from facebook having read a well thought out article in the FT about being over 40.

I like the new forum look very much.

The Jollyboat owners have been thinking about a Nationals of their own and Netley would seem ideal as three are fairly local, I am less than 100 miles and Ed is a little further......
