Re: Trolley tyres
I agree most trolley tyres are not as strong as they used to be. How about using the trailer road tyres instead? They are usually 6ply and can be fitted to trolley wheel centres easily by hand / cycle tyre levers / best cutlery etc. The rolling radius is slightly larger than standard trolley tyres b...

Re: Big Brother's collection....going under the hammer...
You're quite right Ed, its not just old boats that appeal although they are considerably cheaper and need to be gathered up now while we can to make our fortunes later (thats my excuse anyway). What a fabulous collection of rare and obscure vehicles, thank you for sharing them. "Ebay in one han...

Re: Hykeham Who's coming?
Thanks to Sam and all at Hykeham for a great weekend of competitive sailing and socialising. The Race teams managed to get 3 good races in each day despite the unpredictable winds. It's a shame that the event couldn't have been better supported because it is an ideal venue, easy to get to, and a mos...

Re: Roadford Who’s Coming
Hi Alan,
I am planning to travel down on the Thursday, passing through on way to Falmouth museum with my Dad. Will it be ok to leave the boat at Roadford until I take up my pitch on Friday?
Actually, as Pat and Sandy will be there, I might already have some 'minders'!

Yes, 3932 is a Magnum 8, and the photos confirm that hull shape.
From the first owner details I have, it hasn't strayed far from Worcestershire since new.

Re: Baltic Wharf
Chris, there may be some more inspiration as well as Ian's boat on hand at Bristol. I think we can also make you an honorary member of the lowriders FB page which has been very busy recently.
I will stay for a meal at the cottage if time permits.

Re: EISCA Boat, back on the water where it belongs
......and here's another one (on a smaller scale) Collected from Lowestoft on Wednesday as a hull and mast, scrubbed up, borrowed a few bits and its back on the water winning club races today. Yes its plastic but still a rare classic and plenty of life in it yet. https://www.facebook.com/groups/4226...
