Re: Events 2020
As ever, it is down to event organisers to choose whether they wish to go ahead with an event and down to individuals if they wish to travel to an event that is going ahead.

Re: More lost classes??
  Amy's ToY is alive and kicking and heading to the Birkett race at Ullswater this year we're told on FaceBook. Do the various Toppers and Lasers come into the same category as RS - the class association is for all boats produced by that manufacturer? But I wouldn't mind seeing a Bell Flye...

More lost classes??
Last AGM we extended the CVRDA eligibility rules to include as lost classes, those built after 1965 and before 1990 and where that class is no longer in production and its association has ceased to exist (or never existed).
So which new lost classes could we now see at events?

Re: Events 2020
Good to hear from you again Mr Ben!
It sounds like a nice event, especially if you can cope with some camper vans in the car park overnight!
Would anyone else be interested?

Fairey Albacore number 386 named Carousel as far as we can work out. Looks good for CVRDA.

Mick Edwards
Dear All I am very sorry to let you know that Mick passed away on Tuesday. He has been in hospital since Boxing Day but Jackie and family wanted to keep things private and indeed there is not going to be any remembrance service at all. Mick was admitted to hospital on Boxing Day to Aberystwyth but t...

Re: Vintage boats!
I was trying to see if they had a definition for Classic since their circuit for older boats seems to be named classic. Couldn't find any definition though. Maybe they have a classic circuit for vintage boats!

Re: Quadrant style shroud levers
Wish I had - would happily have swapped the rope system on the modern Alb for them yesterday - why won't this boat go upwind on this tack - *** the "shroud lever" cleated rope is off, it's in the wrong place and can't be pulled right on until the main shrouds are loosened. Grrr! Much easie...

Re: Zenith - Swedish B Class.
2012 start? Mere youngster in project age. Two of our Merlins went into the workshop in 2010 and 2006 respectively and still aren't at the front of the queue. And a Lark one went off water in 2004. Then there's the projects that were started before we got them - Merlin 40 for example. Don't know whe...

Re: Hykeham 2020
Sounds promising.
Now I'm thinking maybe we could do Hykeham then up to tour Scotland then back via Ullswater and the Birkett at the beginning of July.......
