Based in Emsworth. Sailed MR 2081 at Bowmoor - with a keen crew of 3
that provided commentary audible to all - "Why is he shouting windward at you ?" and "Look that man in the Pegasus has almost fallen in"

Well I bought the Unit - and it's a big boat almost 16 ft. Picked it up from Shropshire at the weekend. It's got a sliding seat that also pivots fore and aft on a tufnol mushroom shape. Thanks To Nick and Charles for a very enjoyable day on Saturday.
The racing was challenging with a good long list of marks to round and an interesting triangle of wind at the top of the course. The hospitality and food were excellent. Only sorry I could not sail on Sunday.

A Gosling had a motorcycle engine driven by a belt according to the Fairey owners association website.
I have seen a "Duckling" with a hole for a prop shaft that probably hatched as a Gosling.
A Combi dinghy - Norwegian I think, is a similar moulded boat with a rounded bow.
