Having tried to do this on a large area (When I worked at A D Trumans - fixing a Shetland Motor Boat that was damaged in the great storm (1987 - I think)) I would suggest that you fill and paint. Gel coat - even flow coat is a nightmare to get right - it's possible but will take much sucking of teet...

Laser did a rowing skiff (I think in the 80's) could the E:Bay boat be one of these?? I didn't think they had sold any....

Not sure but I seem to feel that it was based on a Laser or Laser 2 hull..

I've got no info on them I'm afraid - don't think they are even menbers of the club any more. The boat seems to have dissappeared from the local scene. Mike Barnes may know more info.....

Yachting World Scow

Further to the earlier comments on the Yachting World Scow we believe that this is the Voodoo sat in the dinghy park at Waveney and Oulton Broad YC for many years as an abandonned hulk. It was restored by Mike Barnes at Norflok Broads Yacht Company and sold to a consortium of 5 chaps some years back...
