FF Kite for JBs?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... SS:GB:1123

There are other sails from this seller too, the kite fits the Jollyboat very well.

Re: Old 505's

Oh noooo, when I sold my 505 I thought to myself that if a good wooden decked or all wood version came up then I would be very tempted. Could the locations/costs etc be sent via PM?

Many thanks

Re: 2009 Event at Bough Beech SC - Saturday 27th June

The tide at Blakeney can be very strong, I was not the only one who could not make it back one day last summer and ended up in Morston followed by a 2 mile walk to get the car. But, it is lovely! As far as the BBSC event is concerned we aim to be as inclusive as possible, so a nearly qualifying Cher...

Re: Shipping a boat to Aus

There is a fantastic Jollyboat fleet in Melbourne. Just checked on google maps, just over 1000 miles away so not that helpful.

Re: RULES - Which are the most important?

Much of what has been written is the reason that I tend to concentrate on low key racing and for a few years before that rarely raced at all.

Under the new rules, I seem to recall, there is only 1 instance when hailing is mandatory or maybe 2?

Yachts and Yachting have a review of the MkIV Wayfarer on page 40 which was shot at BBSC. There are also some good photos on the website - http://bbsc.weather-focus.co.uk/index.asp

Re: Agamemnon - i14 869

Hi, on the subject of sails we use Firefly sails on J9 for windy days. They look a bit silly but we can sail well, not capsize etc. Spinnaker on J9 is massive too, you cannot see around it so we use a Flying fifteen kite sourced from ebay. Covers - Pinbax did a bespoke for J9 which was very good qua...

Re: 2009 Event at Bough Beech SC - Saturday 27th June

There are a couple of I14s at the club and 1 qualifies under CVRDA I think so I will encourage them to sail too.

The event is 1 day only, though you can stay over and sail on the Sunday if you wish.

2009 Event at Bough Beech SC - Saturday 27th June

If there is sufficient interest I propose that an open meeting be held at BBSC on 27th June under CVRDA rules. Clearly all will be welcome and some indication of attendance would be very useful. I aim to arrange for camping for those who wish to stay. As the Thames event is a couple of weeks later a...
