Hi,
plans in Practical Woodworking magazine March 1970 onwards, I was thinking of having a go at building one but am missing the final May edition. Whats your interest?

Re: A couple of Mirror problems
Hi Peter,
I can probably find you a bit of spare ply if you need it and probably a second hand hatch as well, all extras from my Heron project!

Re: CAN YOU NAME THIS DINGHY PLEASE
Looks very similar to a Heron hull shape, even has a strange tank in front of the transom where there is usually a bag

On rare occasions the best Laser sailor may beat a Solo on the water by a hundred yards or so but then loses o...

Re: Personal Handicaps?
The trouble is when the club racing becomes dominated by a single class the sailors of other less favoured classes tend to go elsewhere . The PY system has the option to vary handicap numbers built in to allow fine tuning for local conditions.

Re: Personal Handicaps?
Hi, personal experience suggests that a personal handicap system helps even out unfair PY ratings. I sail at a club dominated by Solo's, they sail nearly as fast as a laser on small lakes like ours but you have to beat one by 3 minutes to win under the PY system alone!. As a result the personal hand...
