Re: Interesting Catamaran Project, but what is it?
And less of the "old man's armchair"; those wings are so comfortable and kind to be knees, but still demand a modicum of effort to get onto!

New floorboards
The floorboards in the newly purchased waybarge leave a lot to be desired, so Tim kindly cut me some new ones from decent ply given to him by a boatbuilding friend. What should I use to treat the bare ply?

Re: Cvrda goodies and stuff
I will investigate Wave Clothing - my D one shirt came from them so I know they are good - and will also look into getting stickers printed. Does anyone have high resolution artwork for the logo ? A cruising burgee is a great idea but would probably be massively expensive. We're currently thinking a...
Wayfsrer
I have bought Wayfsrer 1828, grip I'm afraid, with the intention of doing some Day Sailing and Cruising. Any suggestions for kitting it out and modifications to make? It's a basic mk1.

Cvrda goodies and stuff
I seem to have offered, along with Er Indoors, to help pull together publicity and promotional material for what I will loosely call our class association. This act of rashness occurred at the AGM where there was a request for 'class' stickers, maybe t shirts and other similar fripperies. Stickers o...

Re: SHEARWATER Event
Could I have a tiny tent, or did they say no tents? If so, can I beg some floor space?
Still need a crew or happy to crew for some one else.

Re: Bosham
Tow with the board right up and someone in the boat to steer after the tow boat. Attach the line to the strongest part of the boat - usually the mast. If you have to go a long way and it's the only boat do a well sprung and well fendered alongside tow.
Re: Bosham
I can't go - we have to go to a wedding I did offer Aggie to Chris Somner to sail, not sure if he will have remembered.

Well placed for me. Don't mind about timing but lots of notice helps me book time off.

Re: SHEARWATER Event
Speak to Jon Langford at Nobles, they have done this for me with classics they know don't get out much. Speak direct to him, he is a nice man.

Re: SHEARWATER Event
I can come both days, Nikky can only come on the Saturday, so either I bring a single handed or I find a crew for Sunday. I am not sure what will happen on the Saturday night as Nikky has to be in Barnet on Sunday and I'm not sure how or when she will get there!

Re: Roadford Nationals important
Nikky and I are now on our way home after having stayed on at Roadford for an extra couple of days. Big thanks to Alan and Shona for a great event and to everyone who made it so friendly and welcoming, even for our happy dogs. It was great to get Agamemnon afloat again at last, and what better way t...
