Re: Roadford Nationals important
We are hoping to be there on Friday. Plans have changed and we're not going on to Travemundw, so we're now bringing Aggie boat wise, plus our dogs. This will mean one of us will need to dog sit while the other crews or helms, so we'll be looking out for co-test pilots to check out the new systems. T...

Re: I14 K869 Agamemnon

Re: Epifanes
I used two pack on the contender mast and although I prepped it well (I thought) it hasn't lasted, mostly because I think it was too hard for the flex in the mast. So now I have the joyful prospect of getting it off to do it again. The last time I varnished the very flexible d one mast I used Schoon...

Re: Epifanes
Thanks guys. I have to confess it is for uv protection for my carbon mast....but even so, it is a nice mast with a good looking carbon weave. Getting the right stuff means driving over to Huntingdon, but I will go for it.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Looks like we will give it a miss. A shame as I had almost persuaded her indoors to sail with me!

Birkett Memorial Trophy
Is anyone going this year? Is it a suitable race for a classic 14 and nervous/reluctant crew?

Re: Megamoth
http://www.sailingcatamarans.com/index.php/designs/1-beach-cats-and-dinghies-/4-stealth-14 It's a Richard Woods designed Stealth Nigel, beefed up with a monster fat head, fully battened main, must be around 12 sq m sail area. I sailed it again yesterday with a better rudder and the mast more upright...
