Re: Roadford Event

Ronny, it may be that Chris Wood who came to BBSC last year in his Jollyboat may need a crew. I think he posts on here from time to time. If not I would think we could sort out a sail in something. David, I read your comments with interest. As I now have an interest in FDs I invited them along to th...

CVRDA Courier Service?

Well, I have found somebody willing to part with a set of Flying Dutchman sails and they live near Plas Manai. I am in Kent and I was wondering if anybody was from that area or visiting that area and then heading in this direction? I have family close to Leicester and friends near Bath if that helps...

Mk1 GRP Wayfarer

BBSC is selling a Wayfarer. I have lots of photos if anybody is interested. Comes with a reasonable main & jib, launch trolley, cover but no spinnaker. It is sound and sails well but would benefit from a tidy up. The club is asking £1150 ono.

Re: FD K9

I had read a lot of comments about the genoa and thought yes, but how hard can it be? The answer is very hard, the load is amazing! Whilst I do not plan to do a lot of updating some ratchet blocks would be sensible.

RTI 4 T1

My son, William, has Type 1 diabetes and has decided he wants to do something challenging for diabetes research this year. As a keen dinghy sailor he is planning to sail round the Isle of Wight in his 29er! (I know it is not a CVRDA boat but he often helms J9 too.) To quote a sailor who has read abo...

Re: FD K9

Thanks David, it is quite a deep cockpit as there is no crew deck. I will take some photos at the weekend. Condition is fair but lots of potential, all original style fittings which will be a challenge!

There is just one bar but otherwise as you describe Paul.
