FD K9

Flying Dutchman K9 has the old style kicker with a bar (holed) but I am not 100% sure what connects where, would anyone have a photo please?

Does anyone know what year the continuous trapeze system was introduced? K9 does not have it but am tempted to fit one. Anyone have one for sale?

Thank you.

Re: Dinghy show?

Didn't see anybody I knew.

Good to see the Javelin, Hornet and a very shiny wood decked GP14 on the Harken stand.

Pacer Dinghy Mold

It is likely that the mold used to produce the Pacer is available to a good home. The plan is to bring it to Bough Beech and store it short term until a longer term home can be found. If anybody is interested then please PM me.

Re: What is the worlds most favourite sailing dinghy.....

I could be wrong but I suspect the project is about the collection and analysis of data itself rather than the actual answer. I would have a thought a well researched work concluding its the Ovington Aura would score equally as well as Sunfish.

Re: Is the cvrda the way to go?

I agree with Rupert.

The CVRDA will hopefully endure and if it attracts others of like mind to sail/restore/own eligible boats then that is a bonus.

Re: Vintage Games at WPSA, 2016

Seems so. Eligible is Europe, O-Jolle, Flying Dutchman, Tempest, Soling, Dragon and 5.5 Metre. I could not find on the website how they selected those and not others.

Re: Is the cvrda the way to go?

David and I were initially involved in an RYA project a couple of years ago to increase adult participation in sailing. We both pulled out. At a meeting a couple of weeks ago it was confirmed that the targets were not achieved, the next target age group would be 16 to 24 years old (or around that) a...
