Just put this on Apollo Duck. A Proctor 15 according to the registration document built by Wyche and Coppock in 1964. http://sailingdinghies.apolloduck.com/display.phtml?aid=197404 Need decks varnishing but the hull is in cracking condition. I had planned to do this but realise I will not get it done.

Re: Torbay Class II
Thanks for spotting that Tony. In the 1970 s I lived in Torquay and sailed Cadets and a Fireball we did all the regattas and open local meetings. I remember Paignton harbour being full of wooden dinghies on drying moorings. This may have been one of them. Often varnished boats wooden masts with heav...

Re: Jollyboat ebay alert
Hi Ed
Ian will be sailing J261 round the corner to Bosham and I will have J161 redecked by then.
Both are nearby and will be used in Chichester harbour this season.
I have assumed that Trevor's J9 will come.
Trevor - am I right?

Needs sanding and varnish to decks - varnish has been stripped. Paint to hull - has had some undercoat...

Uffa Fox centenery
Talking to the owner of J83 for sale on ebay.
He crewed a 22 sqm at the Uffa Fox centenery.
The more I hear of this event the more I regret missing it.
Does anyone have any particular memories or photos they would be happy to share?

Re: ebay Jollyboat
Had a chat with the owner a retired shipwright.
He built wooden minesweepers and double diagonal ammunition barges.
Crewed Uffa in Cowslip and in a 22 sqm at Uffa Fox centenery.
Transom reglued, redecked, mast reglued etc 15 yrs ago little used since.
Looking for a good home.

Re: Jollyboat J 143 on Apolloduck
Thanks for posting this.
I have spoken to the owner and got some of the history for the records.
The owners association records show registration in 1957 as Jaunty in Christchurch then Cara Mia to owner in Andover then sold to a Dr in Bath.
