I've seen german trailors by Harbeck specially built for Tempests (Mader of Germany still manufactures them), apparently , the keel is dismantled and carried in a paddded compartment, and the rudder has a special removable "cassette' so that the boat is carried rather low on the trailer chassis...

Got a closer look to the e bat blue and white, mastless dinghy. 1° Almost certainly it is not french made (rudder pintles are from holt allen, and forestay shroud plate too, on a 7O's french boat they would habe been made by Ermat; ILV...etc) 2° I can't find the lateral chainplates for the srouds ...

The orange boat called a 360 in the Database is probably a Mowgli (possibly it was sold under another denomination abroad) a youth boat made by Gouteron (also builder of 445 and 485 ) who pioneeered the double bottom in France. The typical in built spinnaker bucket in font of the mast gate is vaguel...

Hello! As many clubs , back in france (specially on inland lakes) tend to go deadwood parking lot (but that there seems to be a lot of people willing to pay for the parking lot (at least for the first year, after that the club often has to "nationalize" the abandoned boat for club use ...i...

Hello... It is quite an interesting point of view... too many tiny classes means handicap racing, which is not as interesting than one design homogenous racing. In the Sixties and seventies , for each successful boat launched by a particular boatyard, there were near identical copies built (and sold...

I never owned a 420 (but sailed them a lot as club boats).. but still i think that though 420 was well ahead of its times in 1960 . As a boy / teenager i went to england around 1974 1976 and sailed at grafthamwater....
