For those of us with heavier boats... My experience is that puncture proof trolley tyres/wheels seem to deform when the boat is too heavy. My copy of 'Sailing Boat Recognition' by Blandford 1970 also mentions GRP and builders Dobsons Yacht and Boat Builders, Derby.

I've got over the initial excitement of seeing the lots and...if someone in Chichester area wants a Pacer (I don't) I know of one looking for a 'good home' if it hasn't gone already. Grp.

I've made contact with Eric Parkin's daughter. She will look to see what she has in the way of information on the boat in the New Year.

To clarify, the search brings up this which has plenty of detail. Looks like over 500 boats, or at lest kits.

For the record, Eleven Plus designer Eric Parkin, plans drawn by RPK (?), kits supplied by Kit Boats of Harlow.

I don't know if any boats were suppled already built nor do I know if any GRP versions were made as suggested elsewhere by someone a while back.

Batts came back to me very quickly- they loved the boat by way of the photo I sent them. Thanks for the suggestion- he’thinks he has plans! If you get a quote could you pm me? If I am feeling affluent (admittedly unlikely) I could go round there and see if he'll come up with a figure for making two...
