Re: Hull paint

Perhaps if the bubbles were allowed to flow through surface and lubricate hull, similar to Dolphins shedding skin cells. There was an experimental boat built that tried to exploit this - using a set of slots from deck level (in front of the mast) down to the hull. The theory being that the air suck...

Re: Paint over varnish.

If you don't know, treat a small inconspic...

Re: Enterprise lack of pointing

As DH said - a fair bit of the issue could be trying to point to hard. Consciously let the boat off a little, and with more boat speed, board and rudder will be much more effective and you will indeed be sailing closer to the wind anyhow..

Re: ent 2426 hog & keel

Would a laminated marine ply hog be stronger and more durable, and less heavy?

Re: Down to one boat... each... plus a spare

They are fast, vice free boats - the Enterprise is fast but a bit fraught downwind, the GP is not fast. So, theres your reason why to buy one! Also of course you have the spinnaker to play with - even if its not very big. In a sort of way, the Leader was the Comet Trio of its day - able to do most t...

Re: Skol Moth 'The Hopple'

Now sold - to a member at Cotswold Sailing Club.

I'm sure it will get good use, and may yet appear at local cvrda events, in any case is in good hands.

Farewell - I will miss that boat. Huge fun!
