Nessa, She is an International 14, so the boom is low! Small Craft were based on the A27 on the hill up to the Solent Motel they had more or less ceased being in existence by 1969. The late David Robinson worked there on his move from Cornwall before moving to Proctors. Their boats were "solid", they built a few Fireballs before the licensing ...

The Eileen Ramsey collection was "saved for the nation" by PPL Ltd who now charge a lot for prints though some of the pictures are available on line, to view. There is a book of Ramsey pictures produced by PPL which is well enough produced but inaccurately annotated and light on dinghies. ...

David Hunt (Needlespars founder) provided a need little nozzle that fitted in the slot of the track and fitted a pop rivet gun he also supplied rivets with an extra long thingy to pull the rivet tight. Appreciate neither may still be available, but someone on here may still have something left from1...

On the whole I prefer the look of age which will mean variations across a big panel unless you have solid quality Cuban/Honduras Mahogany in which case you can usually sand it back to new. You have ply and probably not a quality veneer either so why not just give it a good deep gloss finish and show...
