Surely Neil is right, would people really wonder what to buy in order to sail and win a CVRDA event? For what its worth I think, personally, I would like to see a cut off - say 1980. But, I think its better for the CVRDA to stay with the original intensions/consitution. When racing I would respect t...

I too hope that an accident was not caused but it was only when I arrived home that I noticed.

Not sure how long it was, basically a scaffold pole about 6ft long. Otherwise the dinghy looks very sound.

I collected last night, all present, except that I did not tie the mast on very well - now lost. Anybody have a spare mast?

Jollyboat Nationals

There is a plan to hold a JB Nationals at Netley next year. There seems to be a growing interest, restorations nearing completion and a new build with the majority on the South Coast or nearby.

ICI Polyurethane 383 mix - Lido Blue P383/0885

Has anyone an idea of where I could buy this, if at all? A google search suggested that ICI sold the Polyurethane division a few years ago. (In case you were wondering it is the paint used on the hull of J9)

David, in your list, you seemed to have forgotten the JollyBoat.

Better value than the FD? Without a doubt.

That seems to ring true. One of the joys of sailing J9 is keeping up with modern boats which I could do more if I could sail better! I think the rhetorical question about "What has the last 40 years....." is a good one. Not a lot?

I agree with Rupert, a Mirror makes lots of sense and are fun to sail especially when windy. I am just sorting out a spinnaker which will make it more interesting and they are easy to move about, tow etc. I would be happy to sail without safety boat cover in the Mirror. I have not sailed an Enterpri...

I hope to collect at the weekend or early next week when I have moved J9 off the road trailer. I am slightly concerned that the seller has not replied nor sent an e-bill.

Any information would be very useful. I will measure the jib as soon as I have it.

I seem to be the proud owner of this. I hope to collect within the next week or so, £5.50 seems very reasonable!
