Cadet

I have a nice little Cadet, built mid sixties I think. Decent trolley cover, newish mast. Two good sets of sails, including spinnakers- not new, but not knackered. I'm more interested in seeing it go somewhere and be used than I am in what I get for it. A great little foible hander for the kids or G...

Banbury

The question everyone dreads me asking: are dogs allowed on site?

Hoping to come with the new (to me) Finn, if only to get set up tips from the experts.

Re: Finn nationals

I have paid my deposit on the Taylor Finn but can't collect until I'm back from Alassio - 25th if I'm lucky! Hoping to get to Banbury and hoping some of you can show me how to set the boat up. I think I would find it quite intimidating to sail with the modern boats, but I really like the idea of com...

Re: Clywedog Nationals

We are more cruising than racing so will be happy to help out in the kitchen. I can also bring some veggie BBQ food if I know how many to shop for.

Re: Polo shirtd

Ok, a rough idea of cost: if we place an order for 20 shirts it will be about £17 per shirt without a name, then an extra £4.50 for a name. I'm rounding numbers up, any surplus will go to CVRDA funds.

I will look into colour choices and find a size chart.

Polo shirts

A long time ago I offered to provide cvrda stickers and t shirts. It being atleast a year since we got the stickers, I am now moving on to the t shirts If there is enough interest I am happy to organise a consignment of polo shirts embroidered with the cvrda logo, plus possibly your name plus boat n...

Re: Cadet/General Bouyancy question

I have a Cadet. The best solution is a mast head float and a pair of big hailers, plus a bucket in the safety boat.

Re: Ian Proctor

Such an amazing variety of boats. Aggie is a Proctor, and yet so is my Wayfarer, both from the mid sixties. One out and out racer, one family cruiser, racer, training boat.

I would be happy to put Aggie on display. I still have the original kit plus of course the boat looks amazing.
