"The Rules Book" by Eric Twiname, revised by Brian Willis, has lots of pictorial situation diagrams and clear explanations which cover almost everything (including the argument we had at Shearwater in the summer!).
It also has the full rules formally set out in the last part.

Apparently the organise...

Is it going to be easy and safe to park cars and boats (and over height camper vans) if we stay for the meal and then drive home?

Most of us don't want to lose out on the sailing hence the reluctance to help. However if we have a different team of helpers (race officer, assistants and rescue boat) for each race we could all sail AND help. As a reward the race helpers could be credited with their average position/points for the...

I don't mind doing the results again for any events where it's needed - it'll be easier now I know what I'm doing with sailwave!! It does however help with someone to read out the numbers for me. The Merlins are also planning their Upper Thames Vintage Open for the second weekend of september 2006 s...

Many of us make Roadford into a longer holiday and camp and sail for a few days before or after the event which also makes the travelling and organising easier. Does Clywedog have the proper facilities for this? Constant access to showers, toilets, changing and sailing whether there is racing or not??

Could you explain what the helpers are needed to do and then you might get more response as people identify with specific tasks??
