Any plans for eating on Saturday night? How about a barbeque? I think we need to be organised after last year's failed attempts to get a pub meal.

Why not make a longer trip and do Roadford as well? We could find you some boat parking in between the two events to save long hauls.

Giving him a novice crew works quite well!

We'd like to sleep over in the van in the club car park again if that's OK. Will the outside loo be open overnight?

Chris recommended it for the Merlin - you can buy it in the camping shop in Trowbridge (BCH in Islington up by the Shaw Trust garden centre) or Cordens in Warminster

If you are at Frensham, talk to Sandy at the weekend as he has some good spare parts. On the old lasers there was a metal cap for the top of the mast onto which the sail threaded. Does anyone have one we could acquire? We have a brand new radial sail with no cap. I could probably stitch webbing on b...

If the Lark in question is number 12 let him sail. It is owned and sailed fully in the CVRDA spirit - it is the oldest known Lark in existance and he has fully restored it from a sad hulk. Phil isn't out for prizes, just a good sail in good company.

We didn't do Plymouth this year because we've only just bought the Merlin and want to get it all up together and get some practice before any events, particularly sea, as we are currently so reliant on the rescue boat if we capsize - bigger buoyancy bags are being ordered! Next year we are much more...

Personally we aren't bothered about the prizes, just looking forward to having a good race on a big lake with some decent winds and lots of good beer, food and company!
Looks like there will be a large flock of migrating Shearwaters there!

Do you want dome photos from Roadford? (and various Shearwater ones)
Or even a movie or two featuring Roger's Hornet at Roadford?
Digital of course.
