I agree re the rules. As a relative novice (changed) I have read and re-read them a number of times and still struggle to apply them as I come to a mark, maybe with people on either side within a few feet, so if you see J9 doing something wrong then please let me know. I am have been surprised by the growth of the British Classic Yacht Club so I think there is demand out there and the idea of one introduction per person is a good start. I am going to do a notice for the notice board at my local club too.

Mast finally found and collected, about 1/2 the weight of the old one. Shame that the car broke down on the way home so the mast, trailer and car are in the repairers yard, hope to collect at the weekend and have on J9 by Netley.

I have an old wooden MR pole and need an old wooden Mirror one. I could chop the one I have but if somebody needs/wants it I would be happy to sell or swap for a Mirror pole?

Does that make sense? I think so, could swap at Netley?
