Kicker lever
Has anyone got a kicker lever that would suit an OK boom? Mine is currently made of two cut down spreaders. Simple, but not stylish. Anyone got something buried deep into n their shed?

Re: A Quiz Question
I only knew because we had one at Hunts for a very short while. I had n9 idea what it was when I first saw it. I think it’s now in Norfolk. A family heirloom.

Re: Banbury National Rally
We are coming. Me, Nikky, two dogs, a Finn, possibly also an ok depending on when I collect it. Also have to check it’s eligibility. Will be racing the Finn unless it’s mega windy. We would like to bring a tent.

Laser 2 - Lost Class
I have been fiddling with a Laser 2 whilst working at another club. I remember learning to crew in one a good while ago, it is a decent boat but so far as I know no longer has a class structure. Would it now count as a lost class and be welcome at our events?

I should be there, provided the horseflies leave me alone.

Re: Classic Finns in the BFA
Jon at Oxford is asking how many Classics to expect for the Nationals in September. It’s really a question for Peter.

We are coming on Saturday morning and camping overnight. We will bring bbq food if that helps. I’m planning on sailing the Finn. There will be two horrid dogs.

Re: Roadford Who’s Coming
Yes, thanks to all involved. We had a great time and it was well worth the long trip. Finally got Ho e at 10.30pm!
Hykeham will be a doddle in comparison.

Re: Roadford Who’s Coming
Does anyone know if the burger van will be operating?
Also, I need to get a Pico rudder from Roadford to Plymouth where it is destined for the sailing charity Horizons. Can anyone help?

Oh that’s brilliant. I hadn’t planned on going to Oxford because of rhe £50 fee, so now I can seriously consider it. Thank you Peter for your work in getting 5os done..

Re: Calling classic Finns
I have two complete sails, but I also have this Hyde one which I don’t have a full set of battens for. It’s not urgent, I would just like to see how it looks.
In other news I seem to be stuck at 6.80 on the mast rake because the mast foot appears to be at the end of its range of travel.

Re: Calling classic Finns
Alan I will bring your battens. One or two fitted, I will bring the others plus the sail in hope I might find a match somewhere.
