Re: 2009 Event

Much to discuss at the AGM, and whilst I agree that discussionjs shoul dtake place arounf=d the upcoming calendar, the only decisions shoul dbe taken at the AGM proper. Personally, there do seem t...

Re: Your invite to Netley..............

we'll be there. Will it be ok to arrive on the Thursday? Sometime in the afternoon.

Not sure of boat yet. I'm going to sail the canoe at Roadford, so might bring that, or might bring the OK. Kinda depends on weather forecast too; might bring both

Re: Int Canoe for Sale K102 - Torment

It's all about confidence. When it's good it really is very very good. When you get it wrong it's frustrating. When you loose confidence it's hard. sailing a canoe is all about time in the boat going round corners, straight line stuff is fun, but quite easy. The sensation and sheer speed on a fetch ...

Re: Int Canoe for Sale K102 - Torment

Really really must go as I too need some space. Mind you.........if there were a few other classic canoes about, well.......

Re: Handicaps at the Nationals

if youplump for seperate starts, how about, in the true spirit of the cvrda, send the vintage off first, slow 2nd an then make the fastest boats work hard to get through the rest of the fleet. Could be an interesting 1st mark !

Re: Baltic Wharf 19th April.

I know that the trip can be a bit daunting for me, but as long as I can get all the fittings back on it time I'll be there with the OK.

Re: Deck Finish - decisions, decisions!!

I used a heat gun to remove the bulk and then nitromoors (sp?) really worked into the grain to remove the stubburn bits, whi...

I've got much the same dilema. How much is a 1969 International canoe worth. In neautiful condition, lots of stuff, trolley no trailer, brand new rudder used about 4 times. I'm sure it's worth more to me tahn it is worth on the market, but what d'ya think? Sorry about hi-jacking the topic, but seems...
