As I suspected the new owner has bought a 22ft 1933 cruiser.

This may not be CVRDA material but it is wood and old. He adds that he hopes to keep J9.

To be fair he was looking for something that performed well. The plan was to sail/race 3 up. The initial email from him suggested that J9 was good to sail but a tad slower than expected. He already has some sort of plastic dish that he sailed so I would think it most likely that a bigger cruising ya...

Well that seems a shame. The person who bought J9 from me seemed very pleased. I have emailed to see why he is selling. I see the ad says would p/ex with a tender so maybe he now has something with a lid.
