There are two small rubber bungs in the bottom of the transom of my Albacore, both were getting rather old then my son lost one. New ones were all to large then I found silicone stoppers from Altec. About £3.00 for a bag of 10 and in lots of sizes. They can be ordered via the website on http://www....

I put a comment on the forum about a Bewl Water event in July. Ian Duffill is the organiser and is keen to maximise attendance and this first event. I have sailed at Bewl Water and it is very nice, pretty large. He can be reached at flint.house@rya-online.net

Having put Alb 999 back together there is a bit missing. The rotating mast goes in a gate, enclosed by a tufnol piece which sits between the mast and the gate, this piece of tufnol has two halves and one half is lost.

Any ideas where I might buy one?

I have been looking for a used trailer or combi for my Albacore (999) for some time but nothing has come up. So, I am going to treat it to a new one, any ideas as to best buy/value?

Aluminium has risen to a very high price and now sailing clubs are reporting that thieves are breaking into club compounds and removing spars.
