Garry,

right now I'd have thought you'd be wanting a spinnaker pole souffle.....

I have the spinnaker(s). A long length of alloy and a couple of ends might get shoved into my stocking if I ask nicely. If I don't ask nicely I have no idea where it will be shoved!!!!!!!!!!

I expect a haggis will work well as correctors - or just use the bladder as a bouyancy tank.

Chris....

Is that the sheeps bladder you refer to or Garrys?

Good question David.
On Spritefull a previous owner with a sense of humour had nicked an old British Rail sign and my selfbailer has a little note 'press lever to Flush' beside it!

Reminds me of the graffitti I saw in a motorway services . The hand-drier said 'Depress button to operate'...the graffitti said " I told it a sad story but nothing happened"

Oh well back to work....

Chris,

thanks for that - a welcome interlude! I was just reading the complete - but uncorrected Part 1 'the designers' and trying to reconcil the need to inform, yet keep the subject 'light' enough for the majority of the readers. I'm now well aware that I'll probably get stuck between a rock and a hard place on this: The more enlightened will pillory me for missing out 101 other designs, whiilst others will yawn and go 'booring'! Oh the joys of writing!

Add that to waiting, with some sense of foreboding, for the 'heavens to fall' on me for the latest offerings in the mag - so you can see that your 'relief lite' came at an opportune moment!
