minutes of a meeting

We had a nice branch meeting of the CVRDA in The Harrow pub and AG told all about what it is like to "fly up a badgers a**e" (FYI thats BA terminology for flying through a volcanic ash cloud)
Walnut shells were discussed as well as the RYA, cleaning sails, the price of second hand boats, and effective ways of soliciting conjugal support for boat bimbling. All the usual stuff. .
It occured to me that had AG's flight been cancelled he might have flown here on one of his Dragons. The comparison could have been made between Volcanic ash and Walnut Shells
I suspect ash is more aggressive as a blasting aggregate!!
I don't know which beer we had but we drank the barrel dry (yes it was already nearly empty)
We thought this section of the forum is underused. It might be a means of establishing a CVRDA star system for pubs that are suitable watering holes for convivial discussion
The Harrow is 5*. There is plenty of water at the mark, and navigational skill is required to get there,
