Dinghy Show 2014

Post by Lukey T »

Hi all,

As you probably know the dinghy show is on the 1st and 2nd of March this year. I am planning to attend on the Saturday so as not to interupt Sunday sailing.

Is anyone else going to be there then? Meet for a pint or two?

I think I'm on the D1 stand on Saturday afternoon. Sorry. I feel like a traitor to the cause.

We'll be there on Saturday. How about 12:00 at wherever the real ale bar is?? I can't find a floor plan yet for this year to see where the bar is.

Sounds good to me, theres three of us coming from Blithfield that I know of so far on the train. Getting there for show opening and there all day.

Catching the train back hopefully just before the hordes of elated England fans start traveling home. If we beat the Irish of course.

Exhibition bar seems to be the one that has cask ales on offer.

I'm around on Saturday and will be at the bar for Sandy to buy me a pint! Hi Luke, who else is coming down from Blithfield with you? If it is either Chris M or 'dirty hands' then access to the bar is only via a picture of nyamanananaianani!!!!!

See you all then!

Luke, I found the link doesn't work, my apologies if it does for other people, but in case it doesn't work for others, here is another link....

Not sure about those two, I'll ask tomorrow as going over to them to pick my rudder up. Is there any chace you can send me the pictures from the Blithfield Rally last year please?

Ok so at the Exhibition bar at 12, all drinks on Sandy then. :P

The sailing with senses talk looks very interesting but it clashes with the tactics coaching. Difficult one cause somethings got get me in front of that blue albacore (and not on the way too/from an event).

All,

a quick update. Yes, I'm at the Show on Saturday BUT if things go to plan, I could be busy! Would love to say more but for now, it's to do with the Classic scene, is good news for all of us and...yes, it is exciting. So, if I seem very preoccupied and racing around, it is not that I want to avoid you but I'm, well, doing my bit for the cause.

Am still hopeful of making the bar at 1pm though...
