Boat a day calendar.....

Post by Max McCarthy »

As some of you may know (from me pestering you about pictures!) I have decided to start 'a boat a day calendar'. And day one is today.....

Of course, today, I have chosen one of my favourite boats, that inspired me to sail an AC, so here it goes!

Cheers,

Roger and Nessa,

see, it's true!
The older I get, the faster I was!

And yes, it really was that windy but it just didn't seem to matter - it just meant that you went even faster!

I can still do 10k in 32 mins and outrun my daughter who is twenty years younger than me so I am sure a 5o would be a piece of p*ss. You just don't want Nessa and I to show you how to sail it. :D

As for 505's, I really enjoyed crewing, though I found the step up over the side tank hard work for one with such short legs!

Rupert....

I'd be more worried about Roger vanishing through the turning blocks once the sheets loaded up! It's bad enough having to see him over the road outside the sailing club......

No I meant 5k I got a bit muddled (age related). I used to 10k in 32 min as a youf of 32.
