We like the X factor as it provides excellent opportunities for demonstrating our wit and sarcasm. Strictly is not tolerated. Other favourites include Xena Warrior Princess, Come a Dine, and anything involving destroying a perfectly good living room.

I'd better not tell you what I do during the day...

when I read the political commentary, I thought I was on Y&Y forum, good job this is in Banter
No - the Avro Vulcan was used as a testbed for the Concorde engines - fitted under the fuselage. Much noise when I saw it ( and felt it ) at Farnborough a few years ago.

But not as loud ( and chest thumpy ) as Concorde doing a showoff demo takeoff just before they were grounded.

The Vulcan was also used for testing the TSR2 engines

Nowt wrong with the Big Bang Rupert.......Sheldon's my hero :) ......probably says more about me than the show's humour though :?

Other than that I bury my head in boaty reading, or online, unless there's a decent film on........just too cold, dark and draughty in the garage in the evenings at present.
