Just finished the course.
What fun! I can heartily recommend it. And doing it over 3 weekends in winter. Got lots of varied weather, from a gale, to this weekend, which was pretty light.
Highlight of the course was a bearing away exercise in a Topper Badger (Bahia?) with a fully reefed main and a furled jib......on the plane!
Bowmoor Sailing Club were also good to us visitors from Whitefriars.

Brilliant, well done to you!
On Saturday my first batch of DI students will be moderated. I can't show it, but I am almost as nervous as they are. Teaching the course has been exhausting, but also great fun.
It's great to see people so enthusiastic about getting into instructing this great sport!
