I spotted this as well, and I've been waiting to see who put that on here first....might have guessed it would be you Nessa :D
Not sure what it is.........Sidewinder springs to mind, but I can't remember exactly what they look like.......any other suggestions?

I think it might be a spanish boat - sol.o made by nautico, but have googled it using a level spanish and found nada!

Not a sidewinder, nor any of the 'S' boats in my books. We need a local to go take a look...

Could be a Solitair - French design. Wide angular dentreboard & rudder, round bottomed GRP, stayed mast, centre main.

No photo yet.

Look at this: http://www.nauticexpo.com/prod/cna-cant ... 98737.html

Is there a resemblence? To me the X14 looks like an updated version of the Sol.o. The builder and length are correct.

As I am local, and looking for a single-hander, I might get in touch and have a look.

I think Nessa's got it right, we like quirky things.....many of my boats have been oddities....but I'm resisting this one, even though it's on my route to house-hunting........but why have expensive shoes and handbags if you've got space for another strange boat :D

am trying to find ways I can pay for it then hide it from her indoors until there is room......aint gonna happen, but i can dream.

is it that marina on the a4, up towards that pub by the hill up to the college, where the road goes on to the bypass (dual carriageway) towards bath, or on to bristle and keynsham. haven't been there since the stone age, so could eb way off...
