Hi there,
I would be most grateful if anyone can supply any information on the seafly class.
I am currently the very proud owner of sail number 43!!!
Information either technical or just general is always gratefully received, as I can find no dedicated books or sites on this class.
many thanks,
Chris Hardy

Designed by SJ Herbert in the early 70's, 14'92 long, sail area 120sqft, spinnaker 135sqft. weight 280lbs, so hard work to pull out of the water! She was based on the mayfly, which was 2 feet shorter. Nice boats - did a repair on one once, I seem to remember, but never sailed one.
Should be pretty quick in a breeze - faster than a wayfarer, for sure.
