Sorry, not an Adventurer Nessa.

I took the pictures myself in 2011 to add to the Dinghy Database.

Hmmmm...

Looks a bit like a Tepco 12 if my memory serves me correctly? I'm not sure that it is a Tepco, but there are similarities although it's been a very long time since I last saw one.

No it's not.

Apparently the first version had a daggerboard and a lightly larger sail plan 9.25sqm.
This is a second version one with a centreboard, still 3.75m long but with only 8.32sqm of sail.

Before I say, here's another three from the same location. The blue one I know but I'm not sure of the purple one with the good view behind or the red and white one.

The purple one looks like a Fennec, but there are lots of French boats a bit like that - how long is it? Red one looks terribly familiar, too, but can't think why.

The red one looks familiar because the deck layout is like a Laser 13 (the cruising dinghy). However, the hull is hard chine - like a graduate? But not enough rocker and no grad I know has a double floor.

The first one posted is a Piaf made by Spair Marine and the blue one above is a Mowgli. The others sadly lacked identification.
The photos were taken at Lac du Der-Chantecoq in the Champagne region of France last September. It's a huge reservoir which controls the flow of the Marne and Seine rivers and the camp site was right by a small sailing club. Across the bridge over an inlet was a sailing school and second club and beyond that a full scale harbour with a yacht club and a powerboat club. And there's one or two more more harbours on the lake! We wished we'd had a boat with us as it makes Clywedog look minute.
And we wandered out to the lakeside whilst waiting for the office to open and watched Osprey swooping down and catching fish!

Gosh, I went there in the year Charles and Di got married, and watched the royal wedding on a dodgy tv in someone's caravan. We were there for a topper europeans - or at least my then husband was. I think he came 9th.

Fab place, but an awful lot of frogs....

Sorry to hijack the thread for a moment......but isn't it funny how major events like a Royal wedding can help us relate what we were doing individually on a certain date.......Nessa watching in a caravan in France, while I had a mad morning running a sailing school fleet and getting everyone back in time so we could watch in a big crowd round the tv in the sailing school lounge.........Happy days,... sigh......

indeed. they were real frogs by the way, tiny ones, got in your tent, your bed, everywhere...

but agreed Sami, I would otherwise have no clue of what I was doing in that year.
