Not a clue... Very strange... The treatment of the planks atthe stern reminds me vaguely of some Cherub building practices in the 70s, but not the rest of that area, and as for the bow and the interior... 90s vintage one off homebuild perhaps, using gear off a scrapped 12?

I don't think it is a one off, I'm sure there was a picture
of an unloved moss covered example on Y & Y forum within
the last year. I can't remember what it was though.....

I reckon it is a one off....but maybe not that old.

somehow it rather reminds me of a re-design to be a slightly de-tuned Swift Solo. (OK very de-tuned Swift Solo).

I rather like it.....but would want to strip the whole rig off it and put on something far far sillier.

Yes, this is an interesting one..... I thought it was the same boat I saw parked outside a house near me last week when I first saw it, but then realised the ebay one is in Kent. I stopped and looked (from the road) at the one near me and was puzzled by the bow.....not the sort of hull shape you would expect to have an overhang.
I may be out and about over the next couple of days, so I will go and see if it is still there and try and get some pics if possible, as I'm very curious too.

unless it was supporting a bowsprit...

also slightly curious about the foot 'push-out' bars. Would be more likely with a trapeze boat?

Update:

I popped out earlier and went past where the boat was....couldn't remember which house, but boat wasn't there........so when I got back I looked at the ebay pic, and googled Emsworth on the maps......dropped the little man down in the street near me and sure enough matched a house up to the ebay pic.......so although it says it is in Kent on ebay, the pic was taken in Emsworth.....so it is the same boat.

which means we're non the wiser.....my bet is a one off though!

My last Cherub ended up with almost exactly that arrangement for the helm, and she was always a single string boat. so not necessarilly.

Something about the wording...
however if you want a boat that will do the job and is of superior quality with no scuffs or scrapes and no repairs then this may be for you.
reminded me of this.

(bit of off topic fun....from about 5minutes in...)
