I have just acquired an Enterprise S/N E110 - Which Category will fall into as far as the CVRDA goes - she is called "sunset yellow" - does anybody know anything about her past history??

Re: Early Enterprise
If she's in pretty much original condition you'll probably be a classic but no problem as far as eligibility if that's the number.
For history and correct build year, you would be better asking on the Enterprise class website.

You'd certainly be racing in the Classic section, though on the water we all race together - more fun that way - and we separate the results afterwards.

Singthenightsong,
In the end, it will all boil down to what you want from the boat! Certainly, there seems to be no shortage of interest in the classic Enterprises right now and they seem to be a good subject for 'sympathetic' restorations. Ent 452 is just such a boat, by the sound of it the old boat must have been in a poor condition when found - yet after a careful and considerate restoration was quick enough to add winning on the water to taking the Concours prize at Bosham last year!
Will you be on the water for the 1st week in September - if so, the Bosham Classic Dinghy revival meeting will, I'm sure, see other Ents of a similar age out afloat!

Re: Early Enterprise
I need to relearn my sailing which i'll do in the Enterprise which is "ready to go" -
have a choice of Merlins (1067 and 1614 redeck's needed) to move to next
(had a stroke in 1993 which knocked my previous hobby (Rallying) on the head!!)
i sailed as a youngster and a youth (in the RN) -
this is the next best thing but 1 advantage - there are no trees to hit!!
