It looks very smart but is it fully restored or simply fully repainted ?

If its the former it could be a bullet proof boat if its just been repainted I'd be a bit wary. I brought a fully restored Magnum 9.9 which is absolutely bullet proof - but there was plenty of evidence to show that this included a huge amount of internal work decks cockpit removed and any weaknesses revealed and strengthened with Kevlar which with these ages of ply dinghy is probably necessary.

The other thing is new tramps are about £220 or so.

Having said all that Magnum 8's are sweet to sail so if anyone does buy it I hope they bring it to Roadford Rally which is open to any lowrider moth and I'll bring mine.

Best Wishes
ALAN
