GP 14 history

Post by john g »

Can anyone help identify my GP 14 sail number 8172 I've had the boat getting on for 20 years and recently been asked when/where it was built. GRP hull and wood deck suspect the original hull colour was yellow . Still use the boat but too slow to race .

My boat 8539 was built in the early seventies if that helps. Try the GP14 association. They have an online register of boats which will give you an idea of the age of yours.
They may have some kind of archive. A lot of Wooden ones were either kits from or built by Bell woodworking.

Hope that helps
