Rondar (Genesis) rudder stock transom fittings

Post by witchcraft »

I have just got a lovely old Rondar stock for my 1970's Hornet. Does anyone have any idea what transom fittings this needs. The boat currently has standard Seasure ones which are obviously wrong for this stock.

Thanks

Welcome to another Horneteer Mark, there are a couple of us here.

Is there any way you can post a picture on here to make it easier to identify.

There is a guide to posting pictures here.

Hope to see you at an event sometime.

Hopefully I will have sorted the leaks by then :?

Thanks I'm probably going to stick with the 1980s Sea Sure stock as I have realised it will allow me to use my existing trailer light boat and mast prop - the Rondar/Genesis fittings are different. Anyway the first top coat is rolled onto the hull now. I wish we had spray kit and a suitable booth but this was only ever meant to be a fun project not a concourse restoration. And yes I do hope to use it at class and CVDRA events, crews permitting (Stone (Hornet Class) and Aldeburgh (CVDRA) both local to me (I sail at Brightlingsea and Alton Water) clash with Uni and 6th form exams for my youngers and betters).
