The Dissection room.
This popped up in the facebook pages and it occcured to me that this is what I need to study the anatomy before undertaking major surgery on my own firefly to repair the leak around my plate case / hog.
I can even genuinely promise SWMBO that she can put it on the fire when I have finished!

Excellent, particularly like the way the varnish appears to have become a drape.
I have been asked whether I will work on another Firefly (for money). I must admit to enjoying working on them, epoxy, agba, staples with little bits of wood and a very sharp Stanley knife. I'm inclined to ask you not to burn in until I know what I need...then again I'm inclined to decline working on someone else's boat. Never done that before, might take the fun out of it.

Looks slightly better than my 14 did when I picked it up!
